Applications should follow the same format as the mechanism to which you are applying (i.e., 12-page Research Plan for R01 or 6-page Research Plan for R21 with a separate Specific Aims page). Since the intent of this award is to support applicants who have applied and plan to re-apply for the same mechanism, it is acceptable (even suggested) to submit a Research Plan that has previously been submitted or a revised Research Plan that is being prepared for resubmission. Provide the Summary Statement from the most recent application for review. Applications which are incomplete or do not follow the page limits or formatting guidelines will not be reviewed..
